I want to export clothes from india to Uk how do start my first step.

Your question is so vague and terse, it is almost not worth answering. You should say where you're based, UK or India? Do you have connections with clothes manufacturers in India? Do you have connections with clothes buyers in the UK? Are you currently in the apparel business? Does your day job have ANYTHING to do with import/export? Or is this just a fantasy pipe dream? (these are just rhetorical questions - please don't answer them!) From your question, it seems like you have no clue about apparel procurement, quality control, financing, logistics, sales, marketing, or anything. You would have no less difficulty exporting clothes from India to the UK than you would opening a restaurant or starting your own accounting firm. Why not? You don't know anything about the restaurant business or accounting either...

To be a clothes importer you need capital, warehouse space, and relationships with reliable suppliers. But, most important: You need to start with a buyer. Who will buy the clothes? When you know who your customer is and exactly what they want, then you can go find the products in India.
