Family, Internal Medicine, General Medical Questions - Thyroid

Expert: Glen F. Aukerman, M.D. - 8/8/2009

Question
I have seen three different doctors in the past year and have been told I have: nothing, it’s all in my head, Fibromyalgia, menopause.
Blood test results: TSH 2.13 (may 09), TSH 1.8 (Mar 09), T4 - .7, Free T3 2.9, Cholesterol 213, weight gain in past six month 20 pounds. I also have nodules on my right thyroid gland, both below 1 CM, and no left thyroid gland it was removed in 2000 due to large nodule. I am experiencing bad headaches (taking Midrin), not sleeping, very tired, poor concentration, poor memory, cold hands and feet, finger nails that peel off, basically feel like a bus ran over me. Looking for an answer.

Answer
They missed the TPO thyroid test which shows the gluten in your diet and your antigliadin test which confirms either HLA DQ 2,8 or Autosomal celiac disease.
That causes you further malabsorption of Vit A, D, E, C, B-100 time released, magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate which produce most of your symptoms.
see www.mayoclinic.com and search for hashimoto thyroiditis and celiac disease

Then you are plant oil toxic which produces the rest. see www.http://efaeducation.nih.gov for better understanding of the toxic effect producing your heart disease from the plant oil excess in your diet and foods

To better understand how to recover see www.medicalcenter.osu.edu/go/integrative
and to understand why all 43 fruits and vegetables are deficient for 7 nutrients leading to you symptoms.
