Question
Hi,
I am mostly vegetarian, except for eggs, milk, cheese, butter. i was told that this may not be enough for healthy tissue. is meat essential?
Thanks,
G

Answer
Most of the animals that we (well, me, not you) eat don't eat meat.... cows, chickens, etc.  So you can get essentials thru your diet, but you have to make sure you get enough protein.....   easy for meat eaters....   cheese/milk/eggs, some vegetables have good protein in them.... but you don't have to eat meat.
