Family, Internal Medicine, General Medical Questions/osteoporosis.medication

I am a 73 yr old male who is hemiplegic and in a wheelchair.  I've been diagnosed with Osteoporosis in my femur,+because I have Dysarthria,+trouble swallowing my physician will only recommend intervenius meds.
I want the tablets in case I have a bad reaction.

the shots work as well as the pills.... and they don't have to be given very often.... once every three months.  So those are an option.  I don't see much downside... they are pretty well tolerated.

The pills.... especially if they don't make it into the stomach on swallowing can cause a lot of reflux and esophagus problems..... so depending on how well you swallow, I might be reluctant also......

Good luck with everything.
