Family, Internal Medicine, General Medical Questions/ITS SO HOT

I was wondering would you please tell me: is it a fact that hot weather will make you sleepy?

if the answer in "yes, it is a fact" would you be able to explain why that is?

(P.S would you please try to give your answer in a easy way that I can understand)

I don't know if there is a definite answer, but here is my take on it.....

when your body is being heated from outside sources or excessive exercising the body finds ways to get rid of excess heat.... sweating and opening up more blood vessels and running more blood to the skin to shed more heat.   That can result in a little drop in blood pressure because some of the blood volume is being routed to the skin.  Less blood flow to the brain may make someone fatigued.
