Family, Internal Medicine, General Medical Questions/Citrus

Question
I couldn't find an allergist on here but I was wondering how someone can be tested for an intolerance towards citrus? As I understand it an allergy to citrus isn't uncommon but a simple intolerance might be quite rare. A friend of mine suggested I avoid citrus for a week and it has made me feel a little better. I had been feeling urinary and prostate type pains from sitting in my car driving all  day. Not so  bad now. I hope  I don't have either because citrus might be in more foods than glutton.

Answer
Dear James,

I suggest you see a holistic nutritionist who can help you to identify other foods you may be intolerant to. A dietary recommendation and plan can be designed to incorporate other foods to be sure you continue to eat the required nutrients.
