Question age 38
My question is Can a person with Shingles come in contact with someone that has has chicken pox already and contract that back to their child ?
Answer No, the fear of is usually with respect to pregnant women or people that have not been exposed to chicken pox in the past. In theory, if you had shingles and came in contact with a child who had not had chicken pox, they could develop it. The issue with pregnant women is the potential exposure of the unborn baby.
