THE ANSWER WOULD MORE APPROPRIATELY BE, THAT PLAVIX OR ASPIRIN MAY BENEFIT YOU DEPENDING ON YOUR RISK PROFILE AND A THOROUGH EVALUATION BY YOUR DOCTOR THAT MAY INCLUDE, IN ADDITION TO AN EXAMINATION, POSSIBLE TESTING SUCH AS DUPLEX DOPPLER ULTRASOUND OF YOUR CAROTID ARTERIES. THERE ARE MULTIPLE POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR A STROKE AND CAROTID ARTERY DISEASE IS ONLY ONE OF THEM. OTHER CONDITIONS SUCH AS ATRIAL FIBRILLATION, INTRACARDIAC THROMBI, VALVULAR HEART DISEASE, INTRACEREBRAL ANEURYSMS AND MULTIPLE OTHER CONDITIONS MAY ALSO LEAD TO STROKE.
