Subject: False Petition of Protection to fast track a divorce. HELP!!!
Question My wife filed a False Petition of Protection to bypass due process for Fast Track Divorce and have space with me out of the way to sell, liquidate or hide all assets. She is mentally ill and has done this several times. Her ex-husband says around 5 times and is giving me a statement to that. Her claims are it was sexual abuse and says I forced her to do sexual acts she did not want to do. She has cleaned out all accounts and started selling and hiding assets. I have never forced or hurt a woman in my life and my ex-wife of 15 years is giving statement to that fact. My wife also claims I abuse drugs and achol. My family did have her Baker Acted and she was released after 4 days. While she was in, I feed the dogs and she had changed the locks and destroyed the house and put all my stuff in the garage and poured sugar on it. I have about $500.00 left and court is on Monday. I have an e-mail from her the day before this saying she would do this and other e-mail of how gentle I am and how she loves that fact. She also turned off my phone. I have many other statements from family to counter her. Can I beat this with what I have?

DISCLAIMER:
I AM NOT A LAWYER or ATTORNEY. I am someone who has experience with family law issues, and am sharing my OPINION only. For the exact law as it pertains to your specific case contact a Professional Attorney in your area/county.
I recommend asking for a 'continuance' or ask to delay court proceedings until you have the opportunity to properly represent yourself with an Attorney. This is your right.
Then I strongly recommend hiring a Professional Attorney because of the complexity of this issue: Most Attorneys offer 1/2 free consultation to discuss the case and payment options: Some allow deferral of payment until court findings, but not all.
Take the information you have and hire an Attorney. Once again you have the right to have proper representation present in court.
Seek out a Professional Attorney to assist further: He/She will be able to answer your question in details once they have looked at all the evidence you have to back your claims. I would be wrong to tell you otherwise.
Kind Regards,
Jeff
