I am not a us citizen, I am from Europe. My soon-to-be husband is an American citizen. He is currently working Overseas to save up the remaining child support that he started paying two years ago. He would like to move here to my country, where the wages are much lower than in the US, about 300-500 US dollars a month. If he goes back to Texas is it possible that his child support will be lowered to be able to start his new life here? We really would like to find a solution for this. He really loves his 2 children, and I have accepted them too, but the money he should pay off in a month would be more than his salary here. My other question is if we are married i it possible that I will have to pay for his child support if he doesn\'t have enough money?

Answer
It is doubtful that the court would reduce a child support obligation based upon a voluntary reduction in income which is what you are saying you Husband wishes to do. It is also doubtful that the court would consider your income when determining whether or not your Husband should be held in contempt for non-payment of his child support obligation, unless it was shown that you where supporting your Husband financially.
