Question
I am going through a divorce and my husband has withdrawn over $12,000 in 8 months from the checking account. I need this money NOW so that I won't be evicted from my apt.
Can I file an emergency motion that will take place within a few days that will make him give me some of this money?
Answer
Hi Jennifer, you most certainly can and if the court does not grant the Motion as an Emergency then you can set it to be heard as any other Motion.
