QUESTION: Thank you for your prompt response to my question. A few other questions I have is ...
1) In order to file for divorce in the states, do you need to have a legal status in this country?
2) What would be the price range to go ahead with the divorce procedure?
3) Are there any documents that he might need to obtain from his country to file for the divorce?

Answer
Hi Sarah,
He has to prove that he has lived 1 year separate through phone bills , rent deed ............. for getting divorce. Then they write agreement in which they will settle their matters like alimony, child support, child custody.............etc and sign the agreement for divorce. If all his matter resolve peacefully then cost will be between $ 200 to $ 500  otherwise he has to pay more.
