Question In December, I am moving in my boyfriend. My son is 18 months old currently. I am well within Florida statutes to relocate but he is contesting the move because he does not want our son living with my boyfriend. My boyfriend owns his own house, has a great steady job, no criminal record, etc. There is basis for his objections. Can the Court prohibit me from moving in with my boyfriend?
Answer Hi Tara, not unless it is shown that the living arrangement would be detrimental to the child or the Final Judgment has language preventing the arrangement.
