Question My step daughter (B) accused me of abuse saying things that had happened to me as child and things off tv. She and her mother went to the police. The police interviewed my husband and myself and found that just a week earlier my husband and i discovered B had failed 2 classes for the year. I got a hold of the report which sided with my husband and i. I had 2 voice mail messages to my cellphone`from B saying she missed us and that she was still fighting with her mom and was going to call CPS on her, i had the officer hear it. B had admitted to a history of lying and pictures were taken of an old scar on her face by CSI. the officer asked us what happened and later b's mother admitted that our story was true. SVU detective closed the case.`B's mother is now taking my husband to court to modify the custody. I happened to have a journal B had accusing her mother of emotional and physical abuse, and B mentioned a fear of stepfather for suspicion of sexual abuse and mom ignores her,b says step dad's hugs and kisses uncomfortable. How will my husband fair in court armed with B's recording, bad attendance,`behavioral report from school, police report, journal, and 5 stories of B being mischievous at her mothers. B claimed to pour hot water on her mother, kicked her, shaved off her step dad's eyebrows, cut his books and clothes. Can the judge report me to criminal dept.

It sounds like you have a pretty good case. I have no idea how it will turn out, that all depends on the evidence. If the evidence is how you describe it, I would think any motion by the mother would be denied. If the police closed the case, I doubt the judge would do anything to you. Good luck.
