Question
I'm a British citizen, married to a u.s servicemen for 10 years, whom was stationed over seas.we lived in the u.k together for 8years and had 3 children, whom were all born in the UK,but have UK/US birth certificates.we now live in Delaware,USA,and have for 2 years.our marriage has since broken down, and i wish to return home to the UK.is this something that i can do?if i do this could my husband have my children removed from me? what are my rights? thank you.

Answer
Dear Faye

It is my understanding that US citizens who are minors have to have both parents consent to leave the country. They may or may not check it at immigration for dual citizens. You can check online as to immigration requirements for minors. You can certainly leave anytime you want. If you move that is not grounds for custody. Good luck.
