Question
hi,i currently live in miami with my 4 year old son his father is in prison and is about to be released in aug. he's been in for 3 and a half yrs. i want to move to spain legally we have gone to court pertaining to custody and the agreement in mediation was that he needed to be allowed to call and send letters to the child how can i go about doing this? PLEASE HELP

Answer
Hi Johanna, depending upon the language of the Final Order of Paternity you may be required to comply with Florida's Relocation statute 61.13001 and provide specific written notice of your intention to relocate and if the relocation is contested by the father you will required to prove that the relocation is in the best interest of the child.

I hope this information was helpful to you.
