Family Law (Divorce, Family Relations)/conflict of interest
I am currently going through a property division case where my exboyfriend is represented by one of OUR good friends. Ive watched her child, gone camping with her and had her over for dinner- is this grounds for filing a conflict of interest complaint to the state bar? How will she be reprimanded (we live in Wyoming)?
You would have to check with your states bar association but unless her friendship with you has permitted her to gain knowledge of facts relevant to the representation that she would not otherwise be able to obtain then there is no conflict of interest in my opinion.
