Question QUESTION: Hello, I have a problem. I just got gladiotor sandals ( black with gold) they are really nice but what should I wear with it? Can I wear them with skinny jeans or normal jeans. I only wear full-lenght jeans so skirts aren't a solution. Oh and I have a kind of satin black blazer, can I just wear it with a normal T-shirt under it. It is a regular blazer, so no boyfriend blazer. Oh and can I wear a oversized blouse underneath it(with checks)? and with a big bangle?(just one)
ANSWER: Hi Davina,
What a great problem to have to solve. Gladiators are this spring/summer's must have sandal. They make any outfits look classy!
Your ideas sound fine, especially the skinny jeans and blazer!
I will need to see a photo of the oversized blouse before I can decide about that.

QUESTION: Hey thanks for your great advice! But I forgot to ask another question. I noticed that a lot of people now wear those brown/black leather shoulde bags. You know, kind of cowboy with some color on them and not too big, a bit small. I prefer just a brown or black one with not to much color. Can you help me find some inspiration. Some pictures maybe or links to sites?
But those brown bags are in-fashion right?
I'm from the Netherlands and you don't have this kind of sites. So I'm glad I found one for fashion advice!
Can you please help me :)
oh and do you think this bag is going to last in fashion?
because I don't want to buy it and then never wear it because no one wears it any more
p.s. Is my english okay? :P
Answer Hi Davina,
I wish I could help you but in my mind, I am not really sure exactly what you are describing, so I fear I might be just guessing...
When it comes to fashion. I recommend that you take my style quiz to find out what styles you feel comfortable with , what you feel beautiful in. That way you can build your entire wardrobe based upon your preference rather than trends. And you will never end up with something you won't wear anymore, because you should love all the clothes you buy in the first place.
I guess what I am preaching about here, is don't let other peoples opinion sway you into buying something only because its IN. Because believe me, the merchandisers are making a fortune on making sure you keep throwing away your old stuff and buying and buying their new stuff.
ahem...as far as I'm concerned its IN if it looks great on you and you love it. Period.
Typically, trends come and go. Classic fashion is here to stay. I always suggest that women buy most of their wardrobe in classic simple styles. Then use inexpensive jewelry or other accessories to jazz it up or change the look as the style changes.
