Answer Hi, Chrissy: Thanks for the question. Of the 435 members of the US House of Representatives, 233 are Democrats and 202 are Republicans.
There are currently 12 Black members of the House. There are currently no Independents. In reality, I can not tell you which of the members are liberals and which are conservatives. Although, the majority of Republicans profess to be conservatives and the majority of the Democrats are supposedly liberals.
