Question
If we have a GSA contract, and under that contract, the DOD issued a contract for Fiscal Year 2006, and we still have funding left, can we still use it?

Answer
Hi, Carol:  Thanks for the question.  Generally, the funds for a government contract are specific for that contract.  I would suggest contacting the contracting officer on the FY '06 contract and request a clarification on the funds "in writing".  That way you will know for sure if you can use them and if it is put in writing, you are then safe in doing so.  Good Luck!
