I am a member of a school organization and we do multiple service projects each year. This year we have decided to do a community outreach program on recycling. I was wondering if there are any government grants that you know of that would help us in our efforts to get our community to start recycling.
Answer Hi, Michael: Thanks for the question. Generally speaking, recycling projects are usually local efforts. Therefore, you need to find local sponsors to support your project. I would suggest starting with the chamber of commerce for companies and then go to the Elks, VFW, Moose Club, etc. to see if they will assist you. You should also contact your state representative's district office to see if there are any state grants available. Best of Luck!
