Question I share a home office with a collaborator (family member who also lives in the home). It's in the basement and I hear that this is not good because the basement represents the past. Since the office can't be moved, what can I do?
The office also has two archways (no doors) leading into it. I heard that this might affect the focus. What can we do about this? Also, there are two desks, so should one be in front of one archway and the other in front of the other archway?
Please help since the business hasn't taken off yet, although there have been lots of little successes and lots of hard work.
Thanks,
Liz
Answer Dear Liz,
The difficulty in having office space in a basement is there are usually no windows in a basement for the yang qi to come in. The archways are probably good in the basement because they create a more yang movement.
Having each desk in front of an archway sounds good.
