I love red but read about it not doing very well in the bedroom. Could you please advise what colors i should have in my bedroom and what color bed sheets will help me relax more.

The color of bedsheets will depend on the qi in your bedroom and your ming gua. If you will give me your birth date I can tell you what ming gua you have and whether or not red will be compatible with you.
