QuestionDear Judy, i'm a female 24 years old, single and currently trying to decorate my bedroom. I'm reading lots of feng shui books at the moment to improve my life. My bed now faces north, since my kua number is four, and it's said to be the best direction for me.I was wondering if you could advice me what kind of painting i could hang in my southwest/romance corner. I have been single since forever and i'd like to meet my special someone.I readed that mandarin ducks painting are great for that corner, but i wanted to make sure first what you think fits there best.
Thanks a million
AnswerDear Sara,
Thanks for your question.
There are four good directions for the head of your bed: North for prosperity and respectibility, East for Longevity and Romantic Relationships, South for good health and Harmonious Relationships, and SE for Peace and Stability. Since you are looking for romance you might consider moving your bed so that the head of it is on the East wall or the head of it on the South wall. The wall should be solid and you should have a good headboard attached to your bed. Also be sure that you can see the door without turning your head. Keep the area underneath your bed clear and clean.
A pair of mandarin ducks are nice.
My favorite book on feng shui is "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Feng Shui, Second Edition" by Elizabeth Moran, Master Joseph Yu, & Master Val Biktashev,
ISBN# 0-02-864339-9. Don't let the title fool you, this book is not for idiots. It is the most comprehensive and easy to use book on the market.
Blessings,
