Question
hi i have a ferret that is a male and 2 years old i recently came across a ferret online and when i went to look at her i was almost in tears, she was extremly under weight and her conditions were horrible, so i brought her home and she keeps starting fights with my other one the male is fixed that i know fr sure, i cannot put them in a cage together she will not allow it any way i can get them to get along?

Answer
I would wait until the new ferret has a clean bill of health and has started to put weight on etc.  She is probably uncomfortable around any other animal at the moment.  I would also introduce them in an open space so she can get away rather than in a cage.  And, unless she is hurting him I would leave them alone (not interfering)to see if she is afraid of him or if she is unsure about him.
