Hi!  I have fibro, as well as cfs.  The fatigue and brain fog are severe and do not respond very well to any treatments.  I do not want to apply for disability, and do not think I would get it anyway.  I have a masters degree, but that was before my brain slowed to a crawl.  I've been "underemployed" due to this condition for a long time and it's taking its toll financially.  Any suggestions for good jobs (or better yet, careers) for people with moderate to severe fibro with particularly severe fatigue adn cognitive issues?

Sorry to take so long to respond ... I didn't get your message!

Have you checked with your Department of Human Resources to see about any rehab potential?

If you are working now, is here any chance of a change in job positions to accommodate your limitations?  The American Disability Act is suppose to help you with job accommodations?  A neuropsychologist might be able to help you with memory issues.
