Fibromyalgia - Remedial massage for Fibromyaligia

Expert: Catherine Martin - 4/5/2004

Question
Is remedial massage an effective treatment (or partial treatment) from the symptoms of Fibromyaligia?

Answer
joanna;

well depending on how bad you are with FMS,i did deep tissue massage a few years ago and it was so painful,all i did was cry-do to all the pain it caused me.

now a gentle massage to help with stress and fatigue may help indeed,but its not meant for all.

with all who suffer with FMS,we all suffer differently with pain and stress and life it self.

i suggest getting some reading done on FMS and see what will help you best;

catherine;
