hi, i just started skating about 2 months ago and im practicing on my doubles .. the problem is that i cant get enough height on the ice is there any way i can get the height i want??? the next question is umm can you do anything on ur spin to make it faster???? thnx!!!

Answer
Hi,
First of all if you are working on doubles after only 2 months you are a phenom!  Do you really have all your basic skills that are needed?  Pretty much not possible to learn them this fast, but what do I know.

You should hook up with a great coach and you will go far if you are that talented!  Work on proper techinique with the coach and everything will improve.
Good luck,
Dianne

Expertise

I can answer questions about figure skating, choreography, ISI or USFSA. Also questions about competing (my Olympic experience or your own competition). I`m a National referre for ISI. Recently I also have been appointed a National Technical Specialist for US Figure Skating. But remember I am not your substitute for a coach! They can see what you are doing! To correct or instruct you on manuevers is really not what I want to do.
