Question Hi! I was wondering if you knew what muscles are the best to strengthen for figure skating and why. I go to a gym about twice a week, but I would like to do some stuff at home to so, if you could, give me some exercises for home too.
Answer HI Emmaleigh:
There are many exercises you could do at a gym for strenght training for skating. I would recommend having at least one session with a trainer and having them focus on core strength and plyometrics. See some of my earlier posts for skating exercises.
