To correct or instruct you on manuevers is really not what I want to do.

Question
Hi, thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Im 14 and have been in learn to skate since i was about 6. I recently moved up to club ice in january. I can do a two, one, and scratch spin. Waltz, Salchow, Toe Loop, and Half Loop. Any many of the moves in the feild. Ive been progressing very quickly, but my spins arent the best that i would like them to be.
I was looking around and i saw a demo to a skate spinner. I am thinking about buying one because i heard they are helpful. My scratch spin is not that great. What shoes should i wear when practicing with this? I would think that jazz/ballet shoes would work because im familliar with them and they have good traction and its easy to move around in them.

-Thanks

Answer
Hi,
My students use spinners.  One that is easy is actually a "Teist Board" by Everlast.  It can be purchased at drugstore.com.  This is an easy rainer.  Work first on back scratch, then move up.  I would wear athletic shoes.
Be careful where you practice as you could fly into furniture at home.
Good luck,
Dianne
