Figure Skating/stainless steel blades

I would like to get your views on the Ultima EHE, matrix ultima and the Paramount blades.  How hard is the EHE in relation to stainless steel?  Does the matrix 2 part system work well? Are the profiles the same as the comparable Wilson/MK blades?  How do the blades compare to the Wilson/MK for quality etc?

I really do not know about the hardness. My students all use regular Ultima Freestyle or Matrix FS. My husband who stones their blades sometimes prefers the regular as they are easier to maintain.  The 2 part are a huge pain, I tried them as did one of my International girls.  They loosened up.

The Ultima FS compares to Phantom totally at a much lower price!

Good luck,

I can answer questions about figure skating, choreography, ISI or USFS. Also questions about competing (my Olympic experience or your own competition). I`m a National referre for ISI. Recently I also have been appointed a National Technical Specialist for US Figure Skating. But remember I am not your substitute for a coach! They can see what you are doing! To correct or instruct you on manuevers is really not what I want to do.
