Question I own Circuit City stock and would like to know what happens to my stock if the company reorganizes, or files bankruptcy, or if it were to get taken over by another company.

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately it difficult to say what will happen. Every bankruptcy is different, it depends on what chapter of bankruptcy the company uses, and how the bankruptcy is administered. Your shares could still be worth something (sometimes it is even possible to see a positive return), or your shares could be completely worthless.
