Hi, I would like to know where can I find historical data on the component weights for the Dow Jones.

Thank you for your question! I did find this link:

Scroll down to the section titled "Dow Jones Industrials". At the end of that section there is a link to pull up a document that has the current list of all DJIA stocks, and their current weightings.

I also found this link:

Here it lists all of the components of the DJIA during its history.

However, it does not appear that information relating to the historical weightings of the DJIA components is readily available online for free. I hope that the above two links are helpful, and suggest that you visit the Dow Jones Index website (link is below), and perhaps contact their customer service for the historical component weighting information:
