Question
I have 10 paper shares of Continental Airlines stock that I received in 1996. How would I go about cashing them in for cash?  Thank you for your help.  Cameron

Answer
Cameron,
Thank you for your question! The best suggestion I have for you is to contact directly Continental's Investors Relations Department. Most publicly traded companies have an investors relations department, and they can certainly handle the transaction for you. I was able to find complete contact information by going to www.continental.com, then click on the "contact us" text link at the top, then scroll to the bottom of the resulting page. Under the Corporate Information section the first link is for "Investor Relations". Here you will find phone, fax, email address, and mailing address information. I have pasted in the information below for you:

713.324.5152 (phone)
713.324.2637 (Fax)
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Central Time
E-mail: investorrelationsdept@coair.com

   Investor Relations
   Continental Airlines, Inc.
   P.O. Box 4607
   Houston, TX 77210-4607

I hope this helps, please do not hesitate to follow up with me if I can be of any further assistance,

Sincerely,
