Question I am 53 and have worked for few banks as a forex trader as well as incharge forex department. I am presently working as a real estate broker/loan officer/and as an assistant real estate appraiser in new york.Metlife called me to join them. I am interested to work as stock broker.Once director of Barclays bank PLC commended that I am a born dealer. I think that the best way for you to proceed is to contact one of the major brokerage firms and see about entering their trainging programs. They usually have a job offer waiting for you once you complete the training. Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Charles Schwab, and most of the other big firms all have this type of program.
