Question
I am 53 and have worked for few banks as a forex trader as well as incharge forex department. I am presently working as a real estate broker/loan officer/and as an assistant real estate appraiser in new york.Metlife called me to join them. I am interested to work as stock broker.Once director of Barclays bank PLC commended that I am a born dealer. I want to try this field for the last time.What do you advise me.I started banking in 1974 from forex backup department. I will appreciate your reply. Thanks and regards

Thank you for your question!
I think that the best way for you to proceed is to contact one of the major brokerage firms and see about entering their trainging programs. They usually have a job offer waiting for you once you complete the training. Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Charles Schwab, and most of the other big firms all have this type of program. The easiest way to find out about this is to go to each firms website, and look for a careers or employment link.  For example, here is a link to Merrill Lynch employment page:
