Financial Stocks/Old Growth Fund certificate

My parents also had a certificate for this fund, purchased in 1959.  I did some research and found that Channing Corporation morphed into American Capital Corporation, which merged with Van Kampen Merritt in 1994 to become Van Kampen American Capital (VKAC).  Morgan Stanley acquired VKAC in 1996, and then sold it to Invesco in 2010 (as Van Kampen Investments).  At the time I liquidated the stock in January of 2011, it was known as the Invesco Van Kampen Enterprise Fund - Class A (symbol ACENX).

I think I found the institutional growth fund my folks purchased from Channing Service Corporation in 1960.  Contact Invesco and give them the ss# the account was purchased.

Stock forecasting and fair market valuations. I am happy to try to answer any questions for investors trying to manage their funds for the future. I will NOT ANSWER HOME WORK questions from students in finance or economics. Over half the questions I get are from students studying finance, located in India. Having someone on the internet answer your homework questions is not the way to build the knowledge you need for a career. All other questions are welcome and encouraged.
