Financing -- Loans/Payday Loan

QuestionI live in Ohio and have defaulted on a payday loan. Collectors keep calling me and threatening arrest, reporting my social security number saying if they do that I will not be able to work for 3 years, and jail time if I do not pay the full amount Western Union, TODAY. I have asked them to send me something Via e mail or regular mail stating what I owe and to whom I owe it and they have refused. I can barely understand a word these people say and they have names like James Brown and (an "attorney") Kelly Bailey and she can't even prnounce the name. I do not feel comfortable sending these people money with out seeing something in writting and haveing something for my records. Isn't it my right to have something sent to me? Any other comments or advise on anything I have told you would be appreciated.
Thank you!
AnswerHi,
I can't give you legal advise, but I can tell you this. If you defaulted on a payday loan, go to where you got the loan and settle your account. It WILL hurt your credit aqnd stop you from getting another loan until its paid!
Good Luck!
