Financing -- Loans - mortgage late payments & adding to the end

Expert: Bobbi Buehl - 1/3/2009

Question
Is it possible to have your bank add the late payments onto the end of your mortgage and then report your late payments as
current on your credit report?

Answer
Hi,

It's possible, but highly unlikely if you haven't talked to them before your payment goes late, sorry. You will have to see if your bank will comply with your wishes, because there is no set rule for them to do so.

Good luck!
