Question
Hi!  My husband and I got "stuck" with a second home which we purchased to move into.  We have a mortgage on that home but not on the home we are currently living in.  I just received notice that I am being laid off in a week from my job.  He is retired.

We are trying to figure out financially what to do.  Our mortgage is with Chase at 6.75%.  We are finding it impossible to either sell that house or even rent it so we need to get the payments as low as possible.  The stimulus package does not seem to cover our situation even though many people are in the same situation.

Do you have any advice?  Any thoughts on HELOC loans and where to get them?

Thanks,

Nancy Kreglow

Answer
Nancy,

So sorry to hear of your and your husband's situation.

Before I can offer anything, I need to know a little more about
the details.

If you like to do this more privately, you can e-mail me "off line" at
ron999d@yahoo.com.

I will respond to you there.

Ron
