Question
I am working on a business plan, where this specific business would help the economy and interests of the US gov is it possible to recieve a SB grant to get the biz of the ground? Also i dont belive there is a another biz like this would that make a difference in getting the grant?

Answer
It is possible to receive a grant or an SBA loan, depending on the
business plan, pro forma, your credit history, etc.

A grant is often harder to get than a loan, and there are consultants who specialize in assisting businesses in applying for, and recieving this type of assistance.

However, be careful in vetting these consultants, some do very little or nothing for your money.  Get references.

The fact that is is unique is a double edged sword.

Great, it is new and different.

Bad, that it has never been tested or found to be profitable or necessary, previously.

Good luck.
