Question I was hoping you would know of some grants to help buy land to start a business on. help please thanks
Answer The answer to this question depends a lot on the type of business and what type of community you are looking to start your business in. In rural areas, which I believe is communities less than 25,000 people, check with your local Rural Community Development Authority which I believe is a part of or under the USDA umbrella. I know they have some programs specifically designed for women as well as some down payment assistance programs. In more of a metropolitan area I would check with your local Technology Center (Vo-Tech) to see if they have a small business incubator. A lot of times they will have something of this nature that can put you with Industrial Authorities or other grant programs that can assist you with getting things off the ground from planning, financing, facilities, etc.
Best of luck in your endeavors. Should you or someone you know look to finance 30 acres or more please feel free to contact us at: http://www.landloanspecialists.com
