Fine Art/Upcoming Artist and Street Art

In your view, who is/are the upcoming artist(s) worth investing in? Also is this buzz surrounding street/urban art going to last?

I worked in that field for a bit and used to run an art publishing company for many years. I decided to work with the masters because the other markets are too unpredictable.

There were many that thought Nechita and others would be modern day masters and the works would continue to make big jumps in value, but it didn't really happen that way. A suite of signed lithographs from 10 years ago, is prob the same value today if it was done by one of the hot artists of 1998. I worked in a gallery in Beverly Hills as well and the living artists have a hype following that can stop at any time and usually does. I specialize in the works of Salvador Dali because the art is timeless. I can talk about Dali, Picasso etc. anywhere on the globe. Many of the "Urban" or hot artists of the day are considered a niche because they are not international.
It's one thing to have a gallery hype your work in Los Angeles or New York, it's another thing to have Christies in Hong Kong auction a work for millions. I prefer the Masters.

I can answer questions about Salvador Dali. While I cannot do FREE APPRAISALS, I might be able to help you sell your works. I can also help with Chagall, Miro, Picasso and other 20th Century Masters.

Questions about a type of art or medium can be answered with one response in most cases. Technical issues are easier to deal with than specifics about an artist. If you need help finding values or history on an artist, it will probably involve research that can sometimes take hours to complete. If you have more than one image to send, I will give you an alternate email address as this system cannot handle multiple images.
