QUESTION: I have an etching by picassowhich I purchased about 30 yers ago from a gallery in orange county. The letter of authenticity that came with it says it is from a series called " le Celestine

ANSWER: If it has a pencil signature and can pass the authenticity test, then yes.

QUESTION: It does not have pencil signature. I've seen another print of it at a gallery in San Francisco. Mine is Titled: Bloch 1658, Medium: Etching, Size 4 3/4 x 3 1/2, Year: 1968, Reference: Baer 1674. I've include a photo of it for your review. Could please send me quote for a appraisal.

I have only sold pencil signed works by Picasso. In some cases, artits proofs without signature can sell for high prices, but I have only seen one or two of those over the years. Quite a few afters were printed that have little value as they were done after Picasso passed away.

Needs more research.

I can answer questions about Salvador Dali. While I cannot do FREE APPRAISALS, I might be able to help you sell your works. I can also help with Chagall, Miro, Picasso and other 20th Century Masters.

Questions about a type of art or medium can be answered with one response in most cases. Technical issues are easier to deal with than specifics about an artist. If you need help finding values or history on an artist, it will probably involve research that can sometimes take hours to complete. If you have more than one image to send, I will give you an alternate email address as this system cannot handle multiple images.
