Question

Hi there, I found this print/linocut recently and was wondering if you could tell
me who the artist is. I cannot figure out the signature at all. El Rivera was as
close as I could figure. I really like the piece and would love to attribute it or
know more about it. I've attached a picture. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Mark, I am not familiar with this piece. I recommend contacting Christies http://christies.com/ or Sothebys http://www.sothebys.com/ auction houses, as they are the two largest auction houses in the world. They may have an expert who knows this piece. If there is one near where you live, you can also take it to a Bonham's Valuation Day http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.sh/pubweb/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&scre . I hope this helps, and good luck to you!
