Fine Art/Painting by E. Gwendt

I have the opportunity to privately purchase a number of works by E. Gwendt (German?), but cannot find anything of record on this artist. Any hints would be greatly apprciated. The 36x36 work does not have an appraisal, but the owner states that the title is  Autumn (scene of poppies in a field). Thank you

Hello, I have not been able to find any auction records. I believe the artist to be contemporary and not a great investment at this time. When he or she starts to build-up an auction record than I would see where this estate is priced. Right now you are speculating.
