Question I have just acquired a set of 24 colored lithographs entitled "Voyage en Angleterre" by Eug.Lami and H Monnier. They are boxed, unmarked and in perfect condition. Not signed or numbered.Printed on laid paper - no watermarks. Printed by UTO Buchdruckerie of Zurich and published by Massie Publ. AG of Zurich Separate introductory notes in German by Gotthard Jedlicka. Date of production unknown. Can you enlighten me further please. Jack Edwards
Answer Unsigned works? Could be decorative art. I'd have to research this. There are books avilable about Lami & Monnier, I don't own those.
If the lithographs were created using the originals as the guide, then the artist was probably involved in the project. If they are photo lithographs that were embellished and the artist had nothing to do with them, the value is lower. These are just a few of the questions that need to be answered.
