I have an almost identical painting by I think the same P. Wilson. My painting view is somewhat closer the swans(2) the red roof house and the trees look closer. It was purchased at Marlin Art, Dear Park, NY

cataloged as Wil-1-013-48. They might know the first name of P. Wilson the paint was known as a "European Landscape" They provably have an appraisal figure.

I have a very similar painting by an artist with the same name.

I purchased it in the 1990s from a pub called the Wharf in Bugbrooke Northamptonshire, where he had several paintings displayed. I presume he was a local artist but I am unable to help further. I paid around 250 for my painting.

Hi, this may be far too late, but here is a link to the same painting for sale by a New York art retailer

Hope this helps, Mick Johnson
