Fine Art/Rico Tomaso

I would like to find out about buying rights to one of Rico Tomaso's paintings. Can you give me an idea how to go  about this? I can find no record of where to find who owns these rights. Thank you.

Ray, most well-known artists are part of Artists Rights Society who controls the rights to their works. Rico Tomaso does not appear to be part of this licensing organization. Since he is no longer alive, he is probably represented by his estate under his family's ownership. I have checked several databases and see no mention of who owns his rights. If you contact ARS, they might know.
