Fine Art/Renior Lithograph

I have a framed lithograph of Louis Valtat by Renior which I purchased from Merrill Chase Gallery/Chicago in 1971. I am interested in selling it.  I would like to verify it's value, identify recent sold prices, and who I should contact to sell it? I hope you can help, please advise. Thank you.

There are quite a few auction records for this piece, with prices ranging anywhere from $1,300 to over $7,000. I will reproduce some of these results for you. This artwork, however, is somewhat outside my expertise and so I can neither explain the wide variation in prices nor tell you the best place to sell it. It would appear that it is a piece that may do well at Christies in New York, and I suggest you contact their print department directly for details on selling your artwork. Other possibilities for sale include Sothebys and Swann, and there are others as well. Good luck.
