Fine Art/Mark King lithos

Question
I have three signed and numbered Mark King prints (lithos?) which have been mounted and very cheaply framed. They are:
“Match Point”(AKA American Airlines Tennis), AR 27/35,
“Palm Springs”, PP 19/25 and
“Home Stretch”, which appears to be signed in paint on the picture itself, but has no pencil marks in the margins.
They have never been exposed to natural light and the colors are very strong. My late husband bought them from his brother’s friend (who I assume was a dealer) with instructions to hold on to them, that they would be “very valuable some day”. My guess is that they were purchased sometime in the late 70s or very early 80s.
I would like to sell them but have no idea where to begin. Can you help me?

Answer
I am familiar with the artist, he produced serigrpahs and other forms of limited edition. I have examined a few of his original works as well. The best thing to do is send me images via email so I can help you further. Send to: collectdali@aol.com

Best regards,

Dan

Expertise

I can answer questions about Salvador Dali. While I cannot do FREE APPRAISALS, I might be able to help you sell your works. I can also help with Chagall, Miro, Picasso and other 20th Century Masters.

Questions about a type of art or medium can be answered with one response in most cases. Technical issues are easier to deal with than specifics about an artist. If you need help finding values or history on an artist, it will probably involve research that can sometimes take hours to complete. If you have more than one image to send, I will give you an alternate email address as this system cannot handle multiple images.
